City Wide Yardsale

The City of Belington is hosting a city wide yard sale.  Maps are available at City Hall Wednesday 06/07/2023.

Planned Power Outage

Mon Power has issued a planned power outage from 9-2.  6th St and Rohrbaugh will be the affected areas.

Open Gym Night

The Board of Parks will open the gym for basketball at the Civic Center.  They are asking for a $2.00 donation for anyone wishing to participate.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Board of Parks is sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt at the Belington Civic Center.  Crafts will be at 2:00 p.m.  The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance and there will be free family photos by an on-site photographer.

Easter Extravaganza

This will be a walk through event.  Please park and enter by the Library.  The bunny trail starts at the Library and goes behind the Light of Christ Chapel.  You will find the Easter Bunny at the last stop (Belington Fire Department).

City Clean Up

We will be having our annual City Clean up from 8-12 or until the dumpsters are full.  Dumpsters can be found behind the VFW next to the Library.  We will also have a tire trailer available.

Important information about your drinking water
Monitoring requirements not met for Town of Belington, #WV 3300101


Our water system violated State drinking water requirements. Even though these were not emergencies, you, as our customers, have a right to know what happened and what we did to correct the situation. We are required to comply with State drinking requirements on a regular basis. During 6/1/2025 to 06/30/2025, we did not submit a monthly operational report or we did not submit sufficient chlorine residual readings.


What should I do?
There is nothing you need to do at this time.

WB, Chlorine MOR not submitted, MOR Incomplete, or
Chlorine missing from Coliform result

What Happened? What is being done?
The Chlorine rsidual was not entered on the chain of custody for a routine total coliform sample that was collected 6/11/2025 at 141 Highwater Rd. Sample results were absent.
